event editorial.

I created this event editorial in my EVNT 2070 course in my second year of my program. This course helped me explore different options as to where I could take my degree, and give me more career options. This editorial goes over my thoughts of the event at the time, as well as technical feedback in regard to the event.

This course helped me explore not only the exploration side of the ILOs, but furthermore, it also expands into the ‘local-to-global’ ILO by exploring different sides of culture and community. It helped me seek out that TRU has more to offer instead of just coming and going to class. It showed me community and helped open me up to some really exciting people, and things.

I enjoyed attending this event back in 2023, as it opened my eyes up to so much more that TRU offers and brings forward to international students and gives them the opportunity to showcase parts of their heritage and immerse everyone in such a beautiful and inclusive event.
